The facts mentioned in these FAQS are unofficial. Do not bet your house on whatever you find here. This information is provided 'as is' for public use and enjoyment. Please address all corrections to the maintainers of the FAQS. All answers appear credited, and attributed to their original poster when it is possible.

The FAQS can be quoted, copied, posted and linked to web sites, used as wallpaper and whatever else may seem appropriate at the moment EXCEPT using it without attribution and/or selling it. Here is a list of questions we would like to add to the FAQS, but we don't have reliable and usable answers we can share. If you have a potential answer to one or more of these questions, please e-mail us at faq@u2faqs.com. Due to the volume of email, we can't promise personal replies. If you are sharing information/answers to be added to the FAQ, be sure to let us know how you want to be credited. Your four options are: Name only, name and email, initials only, initials and email.

• Why has U2 never played the third set of lyrics on "New Year's Day" -- the part that starts with "And so we are told this is the golden age..."? (any quotes from the band about this?)
• What's the city in the backdrop of "The Unforgettable Fire" music video?
• Who is the female vocalist on "Lemon (Perfecto Mix)"?
• Bono has been wearing a ring on his left pinky finger lately. Is it his wedding ring?
• What is Bono singing at the end of "Another Time, Another Place" and what language is it?
• Where can I find U2's total worldwide album sales?
• There's a live version of "Sunday Bloody Sunday" that plays over the credits of the 2003 film Bloody Sunday. From what concert is this version taken?
• Near the end of the video for "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me", Bono is in a hospital and when the curtains are pulled back we see Edge, Larry, Adam and two other people looking at him. Who are the other two people supposed to be?
• What is Bono singing at the end of "Miss Sarajevo" during the 1995 Pavarotti and Friends concert in Modena, Italy?
• U2 had three backup singers when they performed in London for the 9/11 "Tribute to Heroes" telethon. Two are Morleigh Steinberg and Natalie Imbruglia. Who's the third backup singer?
• Bono used to introduce "Bad" in concert by referring to a friend who almost lost his life to a heroin overdose. Who is this friend?
